From Ding Dong Merrily on High to The Darkness’ unsubtle Don’t Let the Bells End I love a good Christmas song. Whether they were written in 1820 or 2020, if they mention Jesus, Santa or are putting an anti-war message to a marching rhythm and lambasting Churchill, come December 1st you’ll find me singing along in the car, shops and anywhere else I can get my fix.
